Al Hamra Perfume By Arabian Oud

Al Hamra By Arabian Oud
Description :
Top Note: Apple Blossom
Middle Note: Rose, Jasmine, Lilac
Base Note: Himalayan Balsam Flower, Musk
This perfume is my Dear Husbands favorite. I have never detected the apple blossom scent, but always the Rose, lilac, and musk. Hint of jasmine after the scent has settled down. Besides it beautiful appearance, it is another natural scent from Arabian Oud that smells wonderful.  Just one or two sprays is long lasting.

The first photos is from my personal collection. I have also had this perfume for more than one year, and I still have enough for another 3-6 months. To open just pull the top directly up. Many people try twisting the top off, so it can be confusing. Even after this bottle is empty I plan to keep it for a long time if not forever it is exquisite and elegant. Often is the first to get my friends or family attentions. It is heavy bottle, but well made.
Al Hamra is expensive, but remember Arabian Oud Perfumes are natural. Cost is around $100+.

Again Arabian Oud has beautiful boxes to come with their amazing perfumes.

Consider adding it to your collection of perfumes you may enjoy this sweet rose fragrance.

Miss Beauty by Arabian Oud: Perfume Review

Miss Beauty By Arabian Oud Perfume is a  light citrus smelling perfume. Once the perfume settles it has a airy sweet scent. The musk is very light but noticeable. In my opinion it is a most sophisticated perfume for mature women. All the scents together create a light breath taking perfume. Miss Beauty is interesting to smell, because I am learning the different scents I am not familiar with, but fragrances that I do know, I can pick up. Lavender is wonderful.  It has been apart of my perfume collection for more than one year, and I have enjoyed using it almost daily.

Such a lovely box, The box itself is like a gift.

Yogurt & Honey Remedy for Toothache

This recipe can be used if you are experiencing a tooth ache. I have used this recipe when I experienced pain in my nerves during pregnancy. Natural homemade yogurt or store brought, whichever you decided. Mostly, I used homemade yogurt.
Plain Yogurt- 1 cup
Honey- 1 Tablespoon
Few pinches of cinnamon
Mix all together and eat, focus on the side of the mouth where the pain is located.
This is temporary and should not be used to replace any medical advice or treatment from doctor. My personal experience has been from thirty minutes pain free up to around two hours.

A Life Without Perfumes. . .

(Copyright Superlovelyhousewives 2012)
Is not much of a life.  At least if you are a woman. I did not wear perfumes till after I was married.

I had the worst allergies in the world. Each time I passed through Macy's, Dillard's, JCPenny's, or any department store perfume section I would directly began to sneeze.  My eyes would become red and I could never be near so much perfume. So from a very young age, I made perfumes one of my worst enemies, that included body sprays or any bodily spray on scents.

When I passed by a sales woman give samples I would avoid eye contact. If they asked me if I would like to try a sample I would quickly shout "No thank you!".  Being in a department store was like being on edge because of my allergies.
Then one day I married, and my husband loved perfumed.  I quickly told him, " I have allergies, I don't wear perfume".  His reply was very loving.  He encouraged me positively to please go shopping and buy some perfumes. I give in and went to a perfume wholesale district in my city.  I spent several hours shopping for perfumes and sneezing, but it was not so bad.  What I learned was that it was not impossible.  I enjoyed myself so much.  There was this feeling of being womanly and sophisticated.  I felt married, and older. But most importantly I started to feel a since of beauty and even honor.
Soon my perfume grow to a small collection, and it they became a part of my identity.  When I looked at them and smelt them it was so much joy. They created a feeling of elegance that I did not know existed.

My collected of perfume is not huge, but I love it and always look for me enjoyable scents.

I rarely sneeze any more when I spray my perfumes or go into the department stores. I currently own about fourteen different types of perfumes.
I will be doing reviews on perfumes I own, and the ones I have used in the past.  I am not an expert, but I enjoy sharing my love and passion for perfumes.
The best thing is that I have shared my love and spread to other members of my family.  If you are not owning any perfumes please go out and try some and buy some.  They are wonderful to have and spice to life.

Tip** Check to see if your local library has this book!

**Check out my list of must have spices!

Now here is my recipe version

It says can serve 4-6 people, but in my opinion it can serve more than 10.

1/2 cup of unsalted butter
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup of flour
1 1/4 cup of semolina
1 1/2 cup of grated coconut
3/4 cup of milk
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon of rose water * recipe calls for vanilla extract but I used rose water
Almonds or nuts for decoration

For the syrup
1/2 cup of sugar
2/3 cup of water
* recipes calls for 1 Tablespoon lemon juice, but it was to strong, I used rose water in the basbousa.

1. Preheated oven to 350F. Melt butter in a pan, add all dry ingredients together and mix well. Make sure your pan is large enough for all ingredients. Just mix well, it should be like a thick cake paste. Pour into your baking pan and flatten. Cook for 30-35 minutes, or till golden brown.
2. For the syrup add the water to a separate pan and heat, then add the sugar, bring to a boil and simmer keep stirring for about 6-8 minutes. It should became a thick syrup after having some time to cool down. Pour this on the top of your finished Basbousa.
3. Cut and serve. ENJOY!!
