Meditation

I want to spend a few moments talking about the benefits of meditation and guided imagery. 

Guided imagery is a powerful technique used by psychologists and other professionals to help people overcome various issues. It involves using your imagination to visualize yourself doing something relaxing, such as lying down in a sunny field, listening to soothing music, or taking a warm bath.

You can use meditation to reduce stress, improve sleep quality, and even boost creativity. In fact, research has shown that regular meditation can lower blood pressure, decrease cortisol levels (a hormone associated with stress), and increase positive emotions.
Mindfulness meditation is an ancient practice that involves focusing attention on the present moment without judgment. It helps people become aware of what they are thinking, feeling, and doing so they can make better choices.

The scripts below are designed to ease you into a meditative state with the intention of helping you share your burdens.

Now close your eyes. Take in a deep breath—inhale through your nose and exhale from your mouth—and silently count down backward your breath for twenty seconds…

20, 19, 18, 17, . . . . 3, 2, 1

Image sitting in a beautiful white cloud surrounding you. The only sound you hear is your breath. Inhale loving energy, exhale any negativity. 

Continue breathing and relaxing. Set a timer for 15 minutes for relaxation or longer. 


After your done use your Journal or printables and write how you felt. You can also keep track of what days you are going to give to yourself and this practice.
